Strawberries and Swing - 18 June 2006 The MS Society were delighted to welcome the Sweeting Swing Band to their Strawberry Tea in Marks Tey on 18 June. The afternoon was a great success, with weather, refreshments and entertainment coming together to make a thoroughly enjoyable party! |

Concert at Westcliff Theatre, Clacton - 24 June 2006 This joint concert with the West Bergholt Concert Band was very successful, raising lots of money for Headway and TCVS.

Dance for St Helena Hospice - 1 July 2006 Frinton Tennis Club was buzzing on 1 July 2006, as a full house enjoyed the music of the Sweeting Swing Band. The warm weather didn't stop anyone dancing and the evening was a great success, raising over £300 for St Helena Hospice. Thank you to all those involved in helping to sell tickets! |

Culver Square, Colchester - 26 August 2006 “Thank you Sweeting Swing Band so much for your excellent performance on Saturday. The entertainment was excellent and to cap it all we made £300.72 from the collection which will all go towards helping people with Muscular Dystrophy.” |

25th Wedding Anniversary Party, Colchester – 10 September 2006 "Just a note to thank you all very much for playing at our 25th Wedding Anniversary Celebration on Sunday. We thoroughly enjoyed the music you played and it definitely contributed to the success of the afternoon. All our friends and family have commented on the lovely atmosphere we managed to create and the Band was an important part. For us, the music helped make the day very special and one we shall always remember." |

Dance at Gt Bentley Village Hall - 25 November 2006 Great Bentley Village Hall was filled with the sounds of swing on Sat 25 November.The evening featured Glenn Miller classics like In the Mood and American Patrol, as well as more modern arrangements such as Moondance and Spiderman! Dancers and music-lovers alike felt well entertained: "The band play so well together and show great musicality. Its really clear that they enjoy what they play." The dance raised money for the RNLI (Brightlingsea) and the Gt Bentley Luncheon Club. |
